Sorry - "Banana Republic" is listed as the last song in the accompanying text file, but it wasn't broadcast.

The Darkness,
T in the Park, Kinross, Scotland, 13th July 2003 and 10th July 2004

Excellent FM radio broadcasts from Scotland's T in the Park festival. In the first, The Darkness were the opening act on the main stage on the Sunday. In the second, just a year later, they were headlining after David Bowie was forced to pull out due to illness, and turn in a blistering performance, which I didn't know I had until sorting through some un-labelled MiniDiscs!

The Darkness,
University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK, 13th October 2003

Excellent FM radio broadcast. The Darkness were on their first major tour and on the verge of huge success. In August 2003 they had played the Reading Festival, being moved up from the second stage to the main stage as it became apparent to the organisers that they would be one of the weekend's biggest attractions (and they were). The following year they were big enough to headline the festival. This show features five songs from debut album "Permission to Land" as well as four b-sides and their cover of Radiohead's "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" and is posted to mark the significant rumours of the band re-forming.

The Skids,
Chelsea College, London, UK, 1981

Excellent digital radio broadcast made for the BBC's 'Rock Goes To College' programme. This recording was probably made sometime between the release of the band's third album "The Absolute Game" and the fourth, "Joy." "An Incident in Algiers" appeared on the bonus album "Strength Through Joy" which came with initial copies of the third LP. This show did not appear on The Skids' live CD which came out a few years ago.
